The practice of Dr. Elzabé Peters is located in Medicross Medical Centre, C/o James Moroka and Peter Mokaba Street, Potchefstroom. She is a registered Clinical- and Neuropsychologist with more than 25 years’ experience in both fields.

Dr. Peters graduated from North-West University (the former PU for CHE) in Potchefstroom, with a B.A. degree (1996), a B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology (1997), and an M.A. (Clinical Psychology) (1999). She completed her internship at Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital, working with both adults and children.

During 2000 she entered academia, and started lecturing at the North-West University, with a specific focus on Neuropsychology. During this time she also started acting as an expert witness in the fields of both Clinical- and Neuropsychology.

During 2003 she pursued a full time private practice, while still lecturing Neuropsychology at Masters-degree level part time. Additionally she continued her studies and completed a Ph.D. in Clinical- and Neuropsychology during 2005.

Her practice services a wide range of clients and life stages including toddlers, children, adolescents, adults and elderly patients. She consults in both Afrikaans and English.

She was trained in an eclectic approach, but frequently utilises CBT, EMDR® and play therapy as therapeutic techniques. Although she works from a Christian ontological approach, she is respectful of other religious orientations, and has worked successfully with such clients in the past.

Regarding her personal life, she has been married to her husband, Bennie Peters since 1998. The couple has raised two daughters.

In her free time Dr. Peters loves reading, Pilates, travelling and home cooking.
